#19. The one where I noticed how far I've come.

I was pulled over the other day and as a black American it can be a dangerous situation with cops.

But throughout the whole situation I only answered questions that I knew were neutral and remembered my right not to speak and to ask why for every step.

All that to say I was regulated the whole time. And even afterwards, I thought to myself - wow if that happened a year ago my emotions would be everywhere and I wouldn't be regulated for 2 days after.

So I'm so happy to see my progress over the years.

Its a silent victory but a significant one at that.
